Ending a 50-day stalemate,PSU insurers and city-based major corporate hospitals are likely to reach an agreement to restore cashless treatment facility from Friday.

The likely restoration of the facility would ultimately be based on varying package rates for different hospitals.

To avail facility in hospitals like Max,Fortis,Apollo,Medicity and Ganga Ram,however, people may have shell out more money in new premiums. For these hospitals, insurance rates in Ganga Ram Hospital would be the benchmark.

There is likely to be another set of hospitals like Rockland,St Stephens,Holy Family,Batra and Sitaram Bhartiya, whose facility would be based on lower premiums.
