New Delhi: The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) is likely to consider Mylan Inc’s proposal to acquire Agila Specialities for $1.6 billion,at its next meeting. The finance ministry has cleared the proposal to that will augment foreign exchange inflows in the brownfield pharma sector.

NTPC in R490 cr loan pact with Central Bank

NEW DELHi: NTPC has signed a term loan agreement for Rs 490 crore with Central Bank of India. The loan has a door-to-door tenure of 15 years and will be utilised to part finance the capital expenditure of NTPC. The loan facility has been extended at the base rate of the bank. PTI
