Country’s second largest two-wheeler maker Bajaj Auto today reported a 1.38 per cent decrease in its motorcycle sales in June at 3,18,377 units.
The company had sold 3,22,827 units in the corresponding month last year,Bajaj Auto Ltd (BAL) said in a statement.
BAL said exports also fell by 18.34 per cent during the month at 1,16,062 units compared to 1,42,124 units in June 2011.
In the three-wheeler category,the company said its sales stood at 26,785 units against 43,830 units in the same month last year,a dip of 38.89 per cent.
Total vehicle sales of the company in the last month stood at 3,45,162 units compared to 3,66,657 units in the same period a year ago,a decline of 5.86 per cent,the statement said.
