Anna Hazare is scheduled to go to Bangalore to undergo naturopathy treatment to recover from the aftereffects of the eight-day fast that he ended on Wednesday, after the Lok Sabha passed the Lokpal Bill on Wednesday. Rahul Khamkar,a resident of Ralegan Siddhi and close aide of Hazare, said the anti-corruption activist would undergo the seven-day “full treatment”.

This was the fourth time Hazare undertook a fast to force the government to pass the Bill. Due to post-operative weakness,he had chosen Ralegan Siddhi as the venue for his fast. After examining Hazare, the doctors attending on him said other than weight loss he had no other complaints. They said he was not required to be hospitalised but should take rest for the next few days.

“Anna had undergone an operation a few months back. He always had benefited from Naturopathy and it has been decided that he would undergo a full course of it soon. It is expected he would leave for Karnataka in the next three to four days,” said Khamkar.
