The DMK and AIADMK,with support from the Left, forced several adjournments of the Rajya Sabha today after demanding to know the government’s stand on a resolution against Sri Lanka in the UN Human Rights Commission (UNHRC) on ‘war crimes’ in the fight against LTTE.

Problem with the resolution is that India does not resolutions that are negatively country-specific.

But what is your call?

Facebook reactions:

Abhishek Singh: No

Aarvind Walmiki: but wt u think wil this thing help…wil it realy fetch some concrete solution…hmmm?

Vicky Tegta: No

Saravana Vijayasekaran: Why this doubt now? No one had any second thought when two Keralites (Fishermen) were killed … and immediate action was taken too … So,why this question where more than 40,000 innocent tamilians were killed mercilessly?

Gopal Lal: What SriLanka had done was obviously wrong and comparing that to Indian Army’s position in Kashmir and North-East is also wrong. The Lankan army had killed thousands of innocents and tamil civilians.

Kurangu Kusala: if india does so,it digs it’s own grave in anti-naxal & anti mao operations (government based armed terrorism)

मनीष वर्मा: India must invade Sri Lanka this time in favor of the Tamilian welfare. Tamils are our blood,we have to appreciate their struggle militarily so that LTTE can be used as a shield against the Islamic terror!

Shounak Chaiwala Baidya: Bt the unity of lanka is also in danger….provakoron was not sane….tamil army did that for their own country…obviously there was a huge damage of life unnecessarily bt it atleast take militants away

Savio Saldanha: Yes. Supporting the Lankan Army’s excesses during war will be morally wrong. India must speak out against injustices in the world because of our increased clout as economic and military power doesnt bid us to remain non-commital to anything anymore.

Shounak Chaiwala Baidya: Tamil sentiment and islamic sentiment both r suicidal….we hav to hold hand of nationalism

Hukam Singh: Yes,This is complete violation of human rights. The Lankan army murdered a 12 yr boy in cold blood. India must compel UNHRC to take action against the culprtis.

Shounak Chaiwala Baidya: I support lankan army….though the misjustice to many tamil civilian

Balajee Karthick: Of course

Raj Kumar: Pp No,not at all.

Chandrika Ramachandran: Not an issue of importance to us as Indians. Why have soft corner for Terrorist or his family? Before he steps into the shoes of his father, good he was shot dead! Not an issue of Tamilians here in this context as after all he was a Terrorist.

Savio Saldanha: In this way we can teach them a lesson for being too pro-pak and pro-china. Letting the chinese ships dock in their harbour, building naval base and observatory posts to keep an eye on Indian movements. Buying chinese weapons and using them on innocent folks alongwith LTTE.

Santhosh Babu: India should rather focus on its own ppl dying out of hunger…

Shounak Chaiwala Baidya: Or we can take the position of china and make us stronger in indian ocean zone,,,,isn’t it???? Savio Saldanha
