The family of murdered British teenager Scarlett Keeling will plant 100 trees near her home in west England to mark the first anniversary of her death on Wednesday.
Scarlett’s family members and her friends will plant 100 willow trees on the land at their home near Bradworthy, north Devon and later hold a private ceremony at a quiet location, media reports in London said.
“We are going to plant 100 willow trees in different colours across the land for Scarlett. We will then get together with her friends and enjoy an afternoon somewhere quiet,” Fiona MacKeown was quoted as saying by ‘The Sun’.
The semi-nude body of 15-year-old Scarlett was found on Anjuna beach in Goa on February 18 last year.
MacKeown said she hoped to meet officers of CBI,the agency which is probing the case at present,in the UK on March 3.
