Close on the heels of the controversy over a video showing Jarawa women in Andaman and Nicobar Islands,a tourist has been detained for video-graphing two men of the tribe.

The tourist from West Bengal was detained at Jirkatang and his camera seized on Saturday. There was footage of two Jarawa men walking on the Andaman Trunk Road.

However, after removing the footage from the camera,he was let off with a warning.

Meanwhile, the police have approached the National Technical Research Organisation (NTRO),which deals with cyber intelligence,to help find the computer from where the controversial footage showing semi-naked Jarawa tribal women originated.
