Jamshedpur: The inaugural edition of the Jharkhand Premier League (JPL) Twenty20 tournament will commence from September 24 at Dhanbad. The tournament will have five teams – Ranchi Rangers,Singhbum Sher,Bokaro Bulls,Jamshedpur Jaanbaaz and Dhanbad Diamonds. Each franchise will have to buy at least one player from Pool-A that comprised of players representing India,India-A and India under-19 and minimum price for players will be Rs one lakh each player,including Ms Dhoni.

PCB mulls Younis,Yousuf return

Karachi: PCB chairman Ijaz Butt has not ruled out the possibility of former captains,Muhammad Yousuf and Younis Khan returning for the Test series against England next month. “Since we have tour games before the Test series against England they can be considered but obviously first the selectors and the team management must feel satisfied that they are fit and ready to return to top cricket,” Butt said.
