Our diet plan often goes for a toss due to one reason or the other. Researchers from Exeter University and Cardiff University claim to have developed a ‘brain-training’ online game that helps lose weight (0.7kg per week).
You cannot however participate in the game if you are underweight or below 18 years of age. Once you go through the terms and conditions and agree to them, you can start training.
So how do you train your brain? In this game, you are required you restrain yourself from clicking on the pictures of calorie-laden food.
You have to play this game once per day for 4 consecutive days. In this one-month training programme, your snacking behaviour and weight before and after the test will be compared.
Unlike the diet fads that keep cropping up now and then, there’s no harm in taking out ten minutes a day. Are you game for the challenge?
