Give her a sari and she owns it. Just like her versatile characters, Vidya Balan’s saris are charming too. Be it pastel, floral or shimmer, Balan has tried and aced them all and added her personal touch to the six yard wonders.
Busy with the promotions of her upcoming movie Tumhari Sulu, the actor has been giving us pure sari fashion goals back to back, a quick look through which can surely be nothing less than a catalogue for our next shopping spree. However, this time posing for the cover of Filmfare magazine’s latest issue, the actor went a mile further by adding a fusion twist to her ethnic attire.
For the cover of the magazine, The Dirty Picture actor opted to wear a red lehenga skirt which she paired with a crimson shirt. We love the fusion touch she added to her ethnic attire and draping a green beaded sheer dupatta, she rounded off her sultry look. We like how the short wavy curls she sported gave off a retro feel.
Wearing a traditional sari in rich pastel green, the actor teamed it with a nude blouse and the contrast was flattering. Rounding out with a statement necklace, we think she looked regal.
She pulled off another fusion look, as part of the shoot, in a green skirt with a stark white shirt adding a lovely contrast.
In another photo, she chose to wear a lovely blush pink sari with a silver sheer jacket to complement it. The intricate beadwork detail on the jacket was an eye-catcher and we like the soothing tones stylists Pranay Jaitly and Shounak Amonkar stuck to. A statement ring and necklace accessorised her look.
We are hooked to the actor’s ethnic looks but what do you think? Let us know in the comments below.
