Singer-turned-fashion designer Victoria Beckham was seen giving fashion advice to strangers on streets here via video call — all for $2.
The former Spice Girl star appeared via an iPad as she gave style tips to a variety of shocked locals wandering through the city’s Central Park, reports dailymail.co.uk.
In a video, which was unveiled on Vanity Fair magazine’s website on Tuesday, style writer and editor Derek Blasberg is seen wearing a large wooden advice booth around his neck, bearing the sign: “Fashion Advice From Victoria Beckham – $2.”
As people strolling through the park initially appeared reluctant to take the offer seriously, Victoria playfully yelled, via the iPad: “Oh come on, you need advice! Don’t be shy!
“As they’re gonna give you $2, I’m gonna give them what they want, what they really, really want.”
Among the advice she served up when she was approached by fans was whether or not white should be worn after Labor Day and what footwear to don with culottes.
