Recently, Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor lent support to a Women Entrepreneur’s Exhibition, hosted by the Ladies’ Wing of the Indian Merchant Chamber and she did it in style.
The IMC’s Ladies’ Wing was celebrating its golden jubilee with an exhibition that offered a melange of products that ranged from lifestyle and fashion to food and more. For the event, the Neerja actress picked a Rohit Bal outfit, complete with an embroidered long jacket with a high collar full of handwork and a full length off-white anarkali dress with a wide gold border. Even though her outfit bordered on classic we think it had a very contemporary feel to it.
With her hair tied up in a bun and adorned with flowers, she finished out her look with a pair of statement earrings by Sunita Kapoor, a bindi and minimal make-up with just a hint of shimmery eye shadow, glossy lips and a flush of colours on her cheeks. We think her hair and make-up artist Arti Nayar did a pretty good job.
Kapoor’s been sporting a lot of Indian these days. In fact, this is the second time in the last week where the Bollywood’s leading fashionista rocked the ‘flowers in the hair’ look. The last sighting was at Anavila Misra‘s store launch. Remember?
She looked a little bit more mature than her age this time but lovely nevertheless. Full points to her for managing to save the day and make the look work to her advantage. What do you think?
