One of Bollywood’s craziest young actors turns 31 today. Of course, we can’t be talking of anyone but the effervescent Ranveer Singh. Riding high on accolades and hit films such as Bajirao Mastani, Singh has been exuding personality from the word go. He is goofy yet dedicated to his work. He started out his career in Bollywood with YashRaj’s Band Baaja Baaraat which got him the recognition he needed as he bagged the Filmfare Award for the Best Male Debutant and since then, there has been no looking back.

And what is interesting is that the actor does not shy away from experimenting – be it on-screen with his characters or off-screen, with his looks. Not one other male actor has been able to pull off the kind of whacky sartorial choices Singh has been making all through his career, and it’s getting more and more insane. From sporting pyjamas at formal events, to wearing a nose-ring for a magazine shoot, if there ever was a Bollywood actor who could pull off these many contrarion looks, it would be Ranveer Singh.

On his birthday, here’s a look-back at five of his whackiest looks.

1. In a skirt!
Taken at the Bajirao Mastani ‘Malhari’ song launch, Singh sported his ‘ghera kurta’ look with a skirt and wore it with total swag. And he didn’t stop there, he showed off his killer dance moves too!

2. Bathrobe is now public-wear
Only the Befikre actor can slay in a bathrobe, bunny slippers, pjs and a hat. Not caring about what others have to say, he sported this look at GQ Best Dressed Men 2015.

3. Calling out to Bappi da?
Taken at the Mumbai airport, Singh called out to his inner Bappi Lahiri as he sported a gold chain, with Adidas Originals as he was announced the brand ambassador of the brand. He also rolled up one of his sweat pant legs and how can we not notice his signature ‘mooch’.

4. Bringing in the funk
Photographed at a press meet for Dil Dhadakne Do in Kolkata along with his co-stars, Singh sported a funky jumpsuit by The Quirk Box and teamed it with a mustard yellow hat and shades.

5. Ringed it!
This was for the cover shoot of the February edition of L’Officiel Magazine where Singh sported a nose-ring and made it look totally dapper.
