When it comes to putting her best fashion foot forward, more often than not, Deepika Padukone has got the memo right. From a sultry sari look to a dainty fresh-as a-daisy appearance, the beautiful actress has been the favourite child of fashion experts the world over. Now with her larger-than-life film Padmavati coming up, Padukone is leaving us all starry-eyed with her promotions-spree fashion turnouts. And if her latest appearances are anything to go by, the diva is painting the town red as she opts for different shades of the colour, looking her best while at it. While she chose a coral red off-shoulder gown from Bibhu Mohapatra’s Spring 2018 collection on one hand, she wore hibiscus one-shoulder separates from Prabal Gurung on the other.
The off-shoulder Mohapatra body-con dress had voluminous, ruffled sleeves and a train adding a generous dose of drama to her look. Styled by celebrity stylist Shaleena Nathani, Padukone chose to accessorise with a pair of Eina Ahluwali drop earrings. With hair and make-up by Daniel Bauer and Anjali Chauhan, she chose to tie her hair up into a simple bun, striking a clever balance with her magnanimous attire and opted for a deep-dark shade of marsala lipstick. She opted for a pair of simple, black heels to go with her outfit.
Designer Gurung described Padukone as a “Dahlia dream” as she looked beautiful in a one-shoulder number. She wore the hibiscus silk cady asymmetric one-shoulder gathered knot tie blouse with an extended sash and bishop sleeve and the dahlia laminated cotton relaxed workwear trouser with the hibiscus patent leather belt from Gurung’s Spring 2018 collection. Styled by Nathani and with hair and make-up by Bauer, Padukone chose to go sleek by tying her hair up into a raised ponytail and opting for a red lipstick. She rounded off her look with shiny pumps from Aquazzura.
