Alia Bhatt is on a roll with her series of blockbuster movies and string of upcoming projects. Social media adores this young talent and budding fashionistas look up to her for inspiration and why shouldn’t they? She does manage to pull off experimental looks with ease. Take the example of her latest appearance at the Lokmat Awards that took place last night in Mumbai.
The beauty looked radiant in a beautiful outfit designed by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. The ivory flared sleeve crop top and nude embroidered lehenga skirt made for a nice combo. We like how beautifully the modern top with that exaggerated lapel detail matched the timelessness of the traditional lehenga skirt.
What we also like is how she accessorised it with stunning earnings by Curio Cottage which was a perfect mix of contemporary and ethnic style. Celebrity stylist Ami Patel deserves a huge round of applause for putting this look together and making the actor look drop dead gorgeous.
Celebrity hairstylist, Priyanka Borkar’s decision to go for a scrunched up quiff ponytail, in other words, the famous ‘Deepika Padukone’ hairstyle was a good one. Even make-up artist Puneet B Saini did a good job by balancing her look with muted nude shades and soft peach lip colour.
Prior to this, she was seen rocking another pastel colour while attending a close friend’s bridal shower in Mumbai. Bhatt went for a fuss-free look with a floral midi dress by The Style Syndrome.
The best part of her dress was the frill detailing on the sleeves and the waistline. She accessorised it with Zara hoop earrings and went with light pink lips, dewy make-up, mascara and lightly curled hair. Bhatt proved that one doesn’t need to go for bold looks to grab attention in a room.
