Managing or styling curly hair can be really tiring.
If you have curly hair then you are familiar with the pain of managing those gorgeous locks. Yes, we call it gorgeous while you may not, but listen to this – stunning spiral curls are due for a revival now. With Taylor Swift bringing back those country curls, the trend has picked up pace now. But this doesn’t take away the fact that managing those curls can be really cumbersome and styling, an even bigger problem.
If you are tired of the same-old, same-old, then here are a few tips by Gunjan Gaur, make-up expert and executive director, ALPS Cosmetic Clinic, New Delhi. They are great for a night out or a beautiful lunch date. The best part? They are all doable in the comfort of your home!

Side Messy Braids
* Apply mousse to detangle and smoothen your hair.
* Let your hair fall naturally, part it to the side of your choice (either left or right) and then pull back to the nape of your neck.
* Once you have gathered it around your nape, braid it either in fishtail or a regular one and tie with a thin band.
* Tug at the braid to loosen it. Add a headband or tiara. You can try this style to look effortlessly chic!
Princess Curls
* Take two small sections of your hair and fasten them at the back with bobby pins.
* Flip hair forward on one side and ensure that the other side is secured with bobby pins at the back.
* Let loose strands of hair roll down on either side.
* Wear a headband or tiara to create the desired look.

Stylish Messy Bun
* The easiest way to go about it will be to grab your hair with your hand at the back and twist it to make a bun.
* Leave the bun as it is, while securing it with bobby pins wherever necessary. You can give a beautiful touch with designer hair pins or artificial flower.
* You are good to go!
Space buns
* Add serum/detangler to uncombed curly hair.
* Part hair in the middle. Start with your hairline and stop at the nape.
* Clasp hair on either side into a high ponytail and twist them in a bun.
* Use a hair tie/elastic around a bun twice to hold. Repeat on the other side.
* Pull down stray tendrils on either side of the face.
* Use hair spray to keep it in place.

Spiral Curl High ponytail
* Wash hair with a light shampoo and use a stay-in conditioner.
* Dry by lightly running your fingers through the hair. Do not use a comb or hairbrush.
* Pull hair towards the crown of the head and secure with no damage elastic.
* Add a trendy headband along the hairline and you are good to go.
