S S Rajamouli’s Baahubali turned into a graphic novel

The makers are going all out and embracing creative ways to keep Baahubali's memory alive among fans.

Usually, movies take inspiration from real-life stories or works of literary fiction but when in India, be prepared for anything! In a bold move, the makers of Baahubali launched the preview of a new graphic novel giving its fans an insight into the much loved epic. A brilliant way to keep Baahubali’s buzz alive for the release of the sequel Baahubali: The Conclusion, we say.

This comes after the team released a virtual reality tour of the sets. Director SS Rajamouli and actor Prabhas shared the preview on social media. Rajamouli shared it on his Twitter account saying, “To envision a world &see it come to life on d big screen is onething. But 2 see The World Of Baahubali unravel and grow. Its something else!”

He further shared, “Here’s a preview of our Graphic Novel, Baahubali – Battle Of The Bold, in association with Graphic India!”

The preview depicts the rivalry between the characters Baahubali and Bhallala Deva as they take on a Persian enemy. There are other pivotal characters like Sivakami and Katappa in the franchise, amongst others.

The sneak peak into the magnum opus graphic world of Baahubali has worked its magic. Along with the fans, we are equally excited to see the world of Baahubali come alive on the big screen, especially with the completion of the filming of the second installment of the franchise, Baahubali – The Conclusion. Who wouldn’t want to be there when the team unravels the mystery of Baahubali’s death by one of his most loyal, Katappa.
