The Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC) will conduct the written examination for the recruitment of police constables on October 15 and 22, 2017. With the exam around the corner, candidates are in a rush to prepare for the same.

Here are some last minute tips to follow in order to give the examination the best shot:

1. Revision:

With the preparation hours ticking to a close, many candidates worry about the topics they do not know. However, this is not the time to pick up any new topic. The best way to revise now is to go through what you have already prepared. In case you have made short notes or marked important topics, then follow it.

2. Centre:

The CSBC has released a notification with a list of centres where the examination will be conducted. Candidates should visit the official website (csbc.bih.nic.in) to check their exam centres right location. Also, it is advisable to visit the exam centre. The exam conducting body does not allow electronic items like phones inside the hall.

3. Documents:

Candidates should carry the admit card on the day of the examination. They are also required to carry a relevant photo identity document like the Aadhaar card or election card. These documents should be kept ready on the day before the exam in order to avoid forgetting in the last minute. Read | Cross-check exam centres

4. Exam pattern:

The Bihar police constable recruitment exam will be held in two sessions on October 15. The first session will begin at 10 am to end at 12 pm while the second session will start at 2 pm to end at 4 pm. In the 100 marks exam, objective type questions will be asked. The syllabus will be of 10+2 standard. The exam duration is two hours.

There will a one morning session on October 22. Candidates have to report to the exam centre at 9 am, that is, an hour before the exam time.

5. Selection:

A candidate has to score a minimum of 30 marks in the written examination out of 100 marks in order to e selected for further rounds which will include a Physical Endurance Test (PET).
