UPSC CBRT 2017 for labour enforcement officers recruitment on November 25

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the schedule for the combined Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT) for the recruitment to labour enforcement officer posts in the office of the chief labour commissioner central and junior time scale grade posts in central labour service (group A).

The exam will take place on Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 2 pm to 4 pm. There are a total of 68 posts available— 33 posts for labour enforcement officers and 35 junior time scale grade posts. The application process for the same ended in in April 2017 and December last year.

The reporting time is at 12.30 pm and candidates are required to reach the exam centre by 1.15 pm as those arriving late will be prohibited from entering the exam hall.

The exam will be for 200 marks and questions will include multiple choice answers. The paper will be conducted in both English and Hindi and there be negative marking of a third for every wrong answer.

The paper will include questions on labour welfare, social work and social security laws, industrial relations, human resource development, principles of natural justice, trade union act, trade union movement, labour laws, current events, constitution events, constitution of India and general mental ability.
