Minor girl untraceable after crocodile attack in Katarniyaghat Wildlife Sanctuary

A 13-year-old girl was untraceable after being allegedly dragged in a canal by a crocodile in Katarniyaghat Wildlife Sanctuary, forest officers said on Saturday.

The incident occurred last evening when Pinky was playing with other children in Sitarampurwa village and the crocodile attacked and dragged her into Saryu canal here, they said.

Divers tried to trace her, but could not find Pinky, they said.
