In the wake of stone-pelting at the convoy of SP Lok Sabha candidate from Lucknow Sanjay Dutt, party leader Amar Singh on Sunday said he would raise the issue of security for the actor with the Prime Minister and National Security Adviser.
“It is a serious matter…goons of BSP candidate Akhilesh Das were behind the incident,” Amar Singh told reporters in New Delhi.
He said he would raise the issue with the Prime Minister and the National Security Adviser.
Recently,Sanjay Dutt had expressed worries at the lack of security provided to him.
“There is no security for Sanjay. I have Z Plus security but I never got security in UP. It is only due to the PM’s intervention that now I have security in UP,” he said.
“This shows that the BSP is worried at the popularity of Sanjay…recently Jaya Prada (party MP from Rampur) also came under attack,” he said.
