Modi said, “If we want there can be progress, farmers can be paid higher for the produce. We adopted the Lab to Land approach in Gujarat and our farmers now can turn sand into gold. The Uttar Pradesh government has failed to meet the needs of the common man”. “Sugarcane farmers toil hard to make our lives sweet, but their lives have only become bitter”,”, he said further adding that while UP is fortunate to have so many rivers, farmers are still suffering in this state

Slamming the Uttar Pradesh government on the issue of unemployment, Modi said, “There are no jobs for the youth in Uttar Pradesh”.

He assured the people that he “will always be available for the people even after taking up responsibility at the Centre”.
