IAF chief Arup Raha Monday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and is believed to have briefed him on the operational preparedness of the force.

The IAF chief called on the Prime Minister and is believed to have given him an account of the preparedness of the force and its requirements in the future.

The IAF is ready with a detailed presentation for the new Government on its requirements which include the earliest possible acquisition of 126 Rafale multi-role combat aircraft along with light utility choppers.

The deal has been stuck for the last two years and in view of the delays in getting new planes, the IAF has been forced to continue operating its vintage MiG-series aircraft, which have been frequently meeting with accidents.

The force is also facing shortage of light utility choppers in view of scrapped tenders and stuck deals in view of bribery allegations against the participating vendors and officers involved in the trial procedures.

Raha has already briefed Defence Minister Arun Jaitley on the operational preparedness of the force and the support required by it from the Government for strengthening its capabilities.

All these grouping started in the era of coalition Governments. But now wisely decided to s the same. Keeping faith in bureaucracy and also giving them free hand. People forgot there are three estates to run a country i.e. Parliament, Judiciary and Bureaucracy. They all must the independent to work as per their powers. Now question arises how to deal with fourth estate i.e. press.

I am quoting a portion of the statement by PMO in EGoMs and GomS regards which says ,’...the decision to s nine Empowered Group of Ministers (EGoMs) and 21 Group of Ministers (GoMs ) would expedite the process of decision making and usher greater responsibility/ accountability into system. ‘ at least good sign for India now.

Is Congress revival is the responsibility of only Mr Rahul hi? A large number of our friends in the Congress Party continue to believe that like the What Man's burden to rule India; they too have been igned by the Lord to govern the 1.25 billion fools of India!

The PMO statement further says that the ministries and departments will now process issues pending before EGoMs & GoMs and take the appropriate action at their level itself. In case there is any difficulty in taking decision on their own Cabinet Secretariat and PMO is there to facilitate the decision making process.

The decision of PM Narendra Modi announcing the sping of all 30 EGoMs and GomS consuted during former UPA Government. Now on wards every individual department and Ministry can take decision on its own, as desired by the Prime Minister himself. So no one responsible other than PM and Minister itself for performances or non-performances.

We need to, one research must be - and I don't care much for academic research -- how does the attacked woman, child or man deal with it immediately when the attacker is attacking them? Without peeing in your pants? Can the society play a role in this sharply-self-destroying society? Does the government play a role in this rapidly-deteriorating government time?
