Haryana governor Kaptan Singh Solanki has sought comments from CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda on recent appointments of Information and Right to Service commissioners. The governor has sought state government’s “para-wise” comments within 15 days on basis of memorandum submitted by BJP on July 30. The party has urged the governor to intervene and cancel these appointments alleging “impropriety, nepotism and irregularities” in them.

“Further action shall depend on basis of comments that state government sends,” a senior official said. BJP, in its memo, has also sought registration of a criminal case against S C Choudhary for allegedly sending a threatening SMS to his subordinate officer, Pradip Kasni, Secretary Administrative Reforms.
