Facebook to allow users to chat with Modi, Kejriwal, Mamata, Lalu and Akhilesh

Users can ask question on Facebook on how the leaders would govern India and also about their priorities and agenda.

Social networking website Facebook is launching a special page to enable users engage in a chat with political leaders like Narendra Modi, Mamata Banerjee, Arvind Kejriwal and Akhilesh Yadav.

With the launch of ‘Facebook Talks Live’, the users can ask question on how the leaders would govern India and also about their priorities and agenda. The questions would, however, be moderated by eminent journalist Madhu Trehan.

In a press release, the social networking site said, “In this FacebookTalksLive season, you can ask Narendra Modi, Arvind Kejriwal, Mamata Banerjee, Akhilesh Yadav and Lalu Prasad Yadav how they will govern India and what are their priorities and agendas.”

Facebook will open the page for user to post their questions on Thursday and the link to the page is http://www.facebook.com/FacebookIndia and the event would be streamed live on http://talks.facebooklive.com/. Also, a leading television channel has been roped in for broadcast of the event.
