EC ban lifted, Shah gets on with work

Shah held meeting with party’s media cell members as well as state co-incharge Sunil Bansal who had been managing the organisational activities in his absence.

Within 24 hours of the Election Commission lifting its ban on BJP general secretary Amit Shah’s public meetings, rallies and roadshows in UP, Shah turned up in Lucknow Friday and held meetings with party leaders to review preparations for the forthcoming phases of the Lok Sabha elections in the state.

Shah held meeting with party’s media cell members as well as state co-incharge Sunil Bansal who had been managing the organisational activities in his absence. Later, he also held a meeting with party national general secretary (organisation) Ramlal regarding poll preparations in Mohanlalganj and Barabanki constituencies. Shah is expected to remain in Lucknow till Saturday.
