The VHP has said that it will use the yatra as a platform to raise the issue of construction of Ram Mandir at the Ramjanmabhoomi site at Ayodhya.

“As per the Hindu tradition, one does not take out yatras in Chaturmas. The VHP is unaware of traditions of the Hindu religion. The Chaurasi Parikrama yatra is usually undertaken during Ram Navmi,” Singh added.
