Congress gears up for closing battle

Congress leaders met to finalise a parliamentary strategy, particularly on voting on the constitution amendment bill for GST.

The last days of the budget session are set to be stormy with Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi both likely to speak in the Lok Sabha. Sonia will address Wednesday a Congress Parliamentary Party meeting and sources said the party, possibly Sonia herself, could raise the delay in appointment of the central vigilance commissioner and a vigilance commissioner. Rahul is set to speak on dilution of the Real Estate Bill.
