NCP state president Bhaskar Jadhav said Wednesday the party would pay back rivals in BJP,Shiv Sena and MNS in the same coin.

Congress CM Prithviraj Chavan is perceived as Mr Clean whereas six NCP ministers are facing charges of graft and are being probed by the anti-corruption bureau and CBI,but the party decided at a meeting not to be defensive in the face of a sustained campaign by rivals to tarnish the image of its ministers.

Jadhav said,“If there is wrongdoing, courts will decide. Till then, there is no reason for party workers to go on the defensive and allow rivals to malign our image.”

In the coming days,NCP will also rake up the alleged communal agenda of Shiv Sena and BJP. It will also expose the alleged cracks in the Sena-BJP alliance over Narendra Modi and other issues.
