Web enabled Online Treasury Information System is set to start operating across Haryana and the sub treasury situated in New Delhi from June 28. The state government initially had introduced this system in seven districts on April 25. A spokesman said that the districts where the system will would now be implemented included Ambala,Bhiwani,Faridabad,Hisar,Jagadhri,Jhajjar,Jind,Kaithal,Narnaul,Rewari,Sonipat and Mewat. For the smooth changeover from offline to web enabled system,some restrictions have been imposed on passing bills in treasuries situated in these districts and the sub treasury from June 26 to 28. The bills,cheques and refund claims other than those related to salary payment will be accepted in the treasury only up to June 26, he said. The department will start accepting bills,cheques and refund claim submitted through the e-bill system in the treasury from June 28.
