Six MNS workers held for assaulting parents of UP,Bihar students

Five workers of MNS and the district party unit president were arrested and booked for assault,rioting and obstructing government servants on duty,among other charges,said Inspector Ravindra Pisal.

Six activists of Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) were arrested on Tuesday for allegedly manhandling parents of North Indian students seeking admission in a local school.

Five workers of MNS and the district party unit president were arrested and booked for assault,rioting and obstructing government servants on duty,among other charges,said Inspector Ravindra Pisal.

Seven others are still wanted in connection with the incident that took place on Monday at the Satara Civil Hospital where medical examination of the boys was being conducted for admission to Class VI in the school.
