Lashing out at Narendra Modi’s claims of changing the country if he came to power, UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi on Monday said Modi has no idea that running a country was not easy. “Narendra Modi has been saying if he comes to power, he will turn the county into swarg (paradise). I do not know what special powers he possesses but it is evident he has no idea that running a country is no easy task,” she said.

Addressing a rally in Paota in Jaipur rural constituency for Congress candidate C P Joshi, who is pitted against shooter Rajyavardhan Rathore, she said, “Every election, political parties come forward with what they have to say. Iss baar ajeeb baatein ho rahi hai (This time there are absurd claims).

The BJP alleges Congress has done nothing for the country since Independence. We all know the country has progressed. Has it all happened on its own?” “Some just want to criticize. They do not want to see reality and keep hurling allegations,” she added.
