The BJP on Thursday alleged that Pakistan was not listening to what India is saying on the issue of Mumbai terror attacks and it was during Congress rule that the menace spread across the country.

“It was during the Congress rule that terrorism took birth and spread,” BJP President Rajnath Singh said addressing a rally in Chandigarh.

“Pakistan is not listening to what India is conveying it,” he charged said referring to New Delhi’s views after the Mumbai attack.

“Pakistan should stop all training camps of terrorists operating on its soil,” Singh said adding “if Pakistan does not mend its way then India will be forced to take direct action against it.”

Recalling that India had won all the four wars it had fought with Pakistan,Singh said “it needs courage and this can never happen when the leadership is coward.”

He alleged the UPA government at the Centre is not taking the menace of terrorism seriously.

NDA convenor and JD(U) leader Sharad Yadav said “Pakistan will be tackled by NDA and it cannot dare to do any misadventure in India if NDA is in power at the Centre”.

He alleged the UPA government failed to take concrete measures against terrorism and always indulged in blamegame with Pakistan without doing anything worthwhile on the issue.
