Residents of Haryana can now get their power-related grievances redressed in a time-bound manner by lodging online complaints,as Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) has completed training its 700 employees to redress complaints on its computerised Consumer Grievance Redressal System (CGRS).
The facility has been made available in all offices of its operations wing.
Now every consumer can lodge his complaint on the CGRS from his home or from any DHBVN office. Every written,oral or telephonic complaint can now be put up by the Nigams computer operators on its computerised CGRS. The CGRS has already been extended
in the areas under Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam and all UHBVN officials are also being trained,a DHBVN spokesperson said.
Each grievance will have set number of days within which it has to be redressed,failing which,it will automatically be sent to the immediate senior of officer. The next officer will also get the predefined number of days for redressal,failing which,the grievance will move up the hierarchy. In the end,the grievance will reach the inbox of the highest officer, he added.
