I would like to bring your kind notice that I was done some clean - up in our village  (Pond, Street, Road) inviting people(through invitation and banners ) around 300.          What took place on the momentous occasion of cleaning kuilapalayam was not something which happened overnight - it was an urge lying dormant for sometime, before gathering momentum before exploding gloriously on that joyous day of 27.11.2014. If you wonder why it had to be around 300 partints (including school students) for what would have needed just a dozen hands, the reason would be(that) if one starts with(an already) wide base, it would be easy for the tree to reach wider and wider dimensions as also to spread awareness at a grroot level. We also like to add (That) since the waste was nearly two decades old and was a 150 tractors load which had packed and set really hard,  it had to be dumped  and buried(in a spot which badly needed refilling) after sorting and segregating stuff which found their way to eco-service, auroville. We sign off with the urance that the jump start given to us by all those wonderful partints would not go to "waste"- and this would not be a one day wonder,  but would turn into a lasting habit.....  Our heartfelt thanks to, villlage leader , youth, aurovillian partints and  the heads of the various schools for their generosity which went a long way in making the endeavour a g success.         Please check our facebook:Clean kuilai             Our next cleaning event coming 11.01.2015 (sunday morning 8.00am) Warm regards                          Kuilapalayam Clean CompaignM.Babu alias Gothandaraman ( 09843129805 ).
