Landmine blast in Khunti district of Jharkhand injures 3 jawans

A landmine blast was trigerred in Jharkhand on Tuesday morning, injuring at least three jawans.

Three policemen, including an officer, were injured in a landmine blast in Khunti district on Tuesday morning.

Murhu police station in-charge P K Jha and two constables were going to Potna village when their vehicle drove over the landmine, DIG Praveen Kumar Singh said.

The jawans who got injured in the blast are reportedly in critical condition.

The DIG suspected it to be the handiwork of the People’s Liberation Front of India. The injured were admitted to a hospital, he said.
