Extreme heatwave conditions continued in Vidarbha with four districts registering above 47 degrees Monday.

Chandrapur sizzled at 47.9 the second consecutive day,while Nagpur recorded 47.5,up from 47.3 Sunday.

Monday was the third consecutive day in both districts when temperatures remained at and above 47.

Amravati registered 47.8,while Wardha reeled from 47.2. Brahmapuri in Chandrapur district recorded 47.4 degrees.

Akola (46.3),Gondia (46.1),Yavatmal (45.5) and Washim 44 are also experiencing severe heatwaves.
