East: isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh,Assam and Meghalaya,Nagaland,Manipur,Mizoram and Tripura,Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim,Bihar; mainly dry in Gangetic West Bengal Orissa,Jharkhand.

North: A few places in Jammu and Kashmir; isolated places in east Uttar Pradesh,Uttarakhand,Himachal Pradesh; mainly dry in west Uttar Pradesh,Haryana,Punjab,Rajasthan.

Central: Isolated places in Madhya Pradesh; mainly dry in Vidarbha and Chattisgarh.

Peninsula: Many places in coastal Tamil Nadu,interior Tamil Nadu; a few places in coastal Andhra Pradesh,Kerala; isolated places in Rayalaseema,south interior Karnataka; mainly dry in Gujarat State ,Konkan and Goa,Madhya Maharashtra,Marathwada,Telangana,coastal and north interior Karnataka.

Islands: Isolated places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands; mainly dry in Lakshadweep.

Chamrajnagar recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 14 degree Celsius in the plains of the region.

Moderate to rather heavy rain likely to occur at many places over Theni,Dindigul,Madurai,Ramanathapuram,Virdhunagar,Sivagangai,Tuticorin,Tirunelveli,Kanyakumari,Thanjavur,Nagapattinam,Tiruvarur and Pudukottai districts of Tamil Nadu.

Light to moderate rain is also likely to occur at a few places over remaining districts of Tamilnadu and Puducherry.
