Hooda,Surjewala woo industry

Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Industries Minister Randeep Singh Surjewala on Monday invited the industry to the state by assuring world class infrastructure.

Speaking at the “CII Event Invest North 2013” in New Delhi,Hooda announced: “Gurgaon is no less than Singapore and I am ready to create more Gurgaons in Haryana,if industrialists come forward.”

“Creation of global standard infrastructure is our top priority. We are constantly striving to improve connectivity,ensure adequate power and water supply and create social infrastructure like schools,hospitals,recreation centres etc,” he said.

Industries Minister Randeep Surjewala added: “With positive and industry friendly policies,astounding infrastructure and road,rail and air accessibility to half the county,Haryana is the natural choice and destination for the industrialists and investors. Haryana is the fastest urbanising state of India,has youngest population largely skill-trained and has peaceful atmosphere. Proximity to Delhi is its strength…”

Hooda and Surjewala cited various goals achieved by their state government in the last eight years. “During the last seven years,the growth rate of the state averaged 9.3 per cent,” Hooda said.
