Taking exception to the state Congress’ demand to impose President’s Rule in the state,Maheshinder Singh Grewal, advisor to the chief minister and general secretary of SAD,on Friday said the “baseless statements” were a reflection of the mounting frustration of Congress leaders in the wake of impending defeat in the zila parishad and block samiti elections. “Before raising such bogus issues,Congress leaders must peep into their house and see how the law and order situation has gone from bad to worse under the UPA government,” Grewal said. He also stated that Delhi under the current Congress regime had turned into a haven for criminals, where no woman or child was safe and thus was fit for imposition of President rule.
