Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday said his “sentiments were hurt” after he came to know that the uniforms of the 14 slain CRPF personnel, killed by Naxals in Chhattisgarh last week, had been dumped in a dustbin after their post-mortem. He said “responsibility will be fixed” in the matter. Speaking in Lok Sabha on the matter, Singh said, “As soon as I got to know about it, my sentiments were hurt. I immediately called up the Chhattisgarh Chief Minister and told him to get an inquiry done into the matter. I also told him that not just an inquiry, but responsibility should be fixed. The Chhattisgarh CM informed me later that a magisterial probe had been ordered and that responsibility will be fixed.” Fourteen CRPF personnel were killed on December 1 in a Naxal ambush in Sukma.
