Cong’s Adhikar Yatra enters ‘terrified villages of Majitha’

On its second day,Punjab Youth Congress’ Adhikar Yatra today entered Majitha constituency. The workers started from Mudal village and continued towards Batala through — what the Congress leaders called — “terrified villages of Majitha”. Welcoming the Congress workers,Chairman of Intellectual Cell of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee SRS Lalli Majitha,said in Kathunangal village: “Most of these villagers are affected by the fake vendetta cases fabricated against Congressmen”.

Addressing the gathering,Punjab Youth Congress president Vikramjit Singh Chaudhary said that they have “received huge and positive response from the suppressed citizens of Punjab”. He said that UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi had selected him for the “mission of Adhikar Yatra” to enlighten the citizens about the Centre’s schemes and policies.
