Continuing his recent administrative thrust on the Maoist-hit zones, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh visited Chintalnar area of Sukma district on Thursday. Chintalnar is located a few kilometres away from Tadmetla where 76 security personnel were killed in an Maoist ambush in 2010.

As part of his yearly Lok Suraj Abhiyan every summer, Singh visits villages in his state along with senior officers and public representatives. On Thursday, Singh spent time at a government health centre and even conducted a check-up on a girl. He also asked the district officials to hold a public grievance camp at Chintalnar next week.
