nder fire after the Budaun rape incident, Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav lost his cool in Kanpur on Friday and snapped at a journalist. When asked about the law and order situation in the state, Akhilesh, who faced several questions from the media, said sarcastically: “Aapko to koi khatra nahi hua, surakshit hain, Dhanyavad. (You faced no danger, you are safe, thank you).”  He also stated that action is being taken in Budaun incident and arrests have been done.

Earlier, an official spokesperson said in a press statement that the chief minister reprimanded police officials over the Budaun incident and directed them to stop recurrence of such incident.
