A day after Whistle-blower Julian Assange-founded website Wikileaks denied they ever endorsed BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi as “incorruptible”, the Wikileaks Twitter page on Tuesday accused BJP of using the fake Assange-Modi endorsement to raise funds. The Wikileaks website added that Modi’s supporters were using fake propaganda to shore up support for the BJP prime ministerial candidate and tarnish Assange’s image.

This is what Wikileaks tweeted on Monday

Wikileaks also pointed out the cable where the term “incorruptible” was used. Apparently, a Rajkot Congress party leader Manoharsingh Jadeja praised Narendra Modi’s accomplishments, where he used the word “incorruptible”. He substantiated his argument by saying, “As long as Modi is the Gujarat CM, Congress would face a tough challenge.”

In fact, back in 2011, Modi’s own blog had acknowledged the cable as positive news backing his strong credentials.
