Mizoram: 10 die of gastroenteritis

At least 10 people have died of gastroenteritis in the past one week in remote Parva and surrounding villages in Mizoram, officials said on Thursday. Additional Director of State Health Services Department N Pallai said the disease outbreak had been contained after doctors reached the villages. Doctors were of the opinion that unhygienic lifestyle of the people has led to the outbreak of the disease.
