12-year-old mutilated, beaten to death by youths in Rajasthan

The victim's brother, who was present at the spot stated that the accused mutilated his brother's eyes and private parts.

In a gruesome attack, a 12-year-old was allegedly beaten to death by two youths in the district, police said on Tuesday.

Loon Nath was mercilessly beaten to death by two youths, Cheluram, Ratnaram with sticks on Monday in Chhatargarh police station area, Additional SP (Rural) Satnam Singh said.

The victim’s brother Omnath, who was present at the spot stated that the accused mutilated his brother’s eyes and private parts, he said.

The victim along with Omnath, Cheluram and Ratnaram had gone out to feed cattle when the brothers had a quarrel with the accused, police said.

Omnath managed to escape and informed his parents about the incident, following which the body of the victim was shifted to a hospital, Singh said.

Ratnaram has been arrested while the other accused is absconding, he added.
