‘Haryana cops get more allowances than neighbours’

Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said state’s police personnel receive more allowances than their counterparts in the neighbouring states.

Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said state’s police personnel receive more allowances than their counterparts in the neighbouring states. Responding to a question,he said the state government had increased ration money from Rs 420 to 840 for HAP and IRB and Rs 300 to 600 for other police units with effect from January 1,2009. Hooda said the state had also improved the working condition of officers.
