Allow traditional instruments: Patil

Maharashtra Home Minister R R Patil on Tuesday directed officers of the Pune police to allow the use of traditional instruments,which are within acceptable decibel levels,in processions of Ganpatib visarjan until midnight.

Maharashtra Home Minister R R Patil on Tuesday directed officers of the Pune police to allow the use of traditional instruments,which are within acceptable decibel levels,in processions of Ganpatib visarjan until midnight. Patil added that swift action would be taken to withdraw cases registered against workers of the 155 mandals in Pune during last year’s Ganesh utsav.
