Youth drowns in Bhimlat Kund, body not yet recovered

Search for the body was launched by the police personnel and a rescue team was called as the body is yet to be recovered.

A 24-year-old man, who had come with his friends from Jaipur to Bhimlat Kund, a popular picnic spot in Bundi, Rajasthan, drowned while bathing in the water reservoir, police said on September 5. The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon when Hemant Tailor slipped into the deeper part of the kund while bathing, officials from the Sadar police station said.

The man, a resident of Churu, was in Jaipur in search of some employment and happened to come to Bhimlat in Bundi for picnic with his friends, they said. Search for the body was launched by the police personnel and later a rescue team from Kota Municipal Corporation was also called but it is yet to be recovered, an official from Bundi police control room said.

The family members of the man have also reached the spot from Churu this morning, he added.
